People and organizations that have the ability to demonstrate their financial solvency to invest in compliance with any of the following criteria:
Personal criteria
- Net worth greater than USD $1 million, excluding primary residence (individually or with partner)
- Income greater than USD $200,000 (individually) or $300,000 (with partner) in each of the previous two years, and reasonably expects the same for the current year
Professional criteria
- Family Office Representatives
- Investment professionals currently licensed by the SEC
Criteria for organizations
- Organizations that have investments or assets greater than $5M
- Organizations where all equity owners are accredited investors
- SEC Registered Investment Advisors and Broker-Dealers
- Financial entities (banks and finance companies)
The sophisticated investor (non-accredited) are people with knowledge and experience as founders, managers or operators, who are able to evaluate the merits and risks of an investment, and have the financial capacity and interest to invest at least USD. $10,000 over the next 12 months.
We define "Practitioners" as actors in the ecosystem that do not participate directly in the investment process but their contribuitions are necessary for startups to raise capital, through mentorship, technical assistance, scouting, consulting, etc.
The program is free for accredited investors.
If you are a sophisticated investor (non-accredited) or its your first time investing, we will take a USD $2K retainer that will be reibursed when you make your first investment.
